About the Moodle Zone

The Moodle Zone is our formal e-learning area, offering a range of courses and training. At present we are running accredited modules on Leadership and Management Development. Information about the next programme will be posted here soon.

The Moodle Zone uses the Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment software platform on which non-profit organisations create online courses with a focus on interaction and collaborative construction of content.

Many standard features are available for supporting various e-learning methods, such as templates for lesson creation, assignment setting and moderating, quizzes, chats and forums. These features support the course developer and course material designer as they manipulate course content to create an effective e-learning experience for the participants. As the Moodle Zone develops, it is intended to extend the toolbox of features available to organizations to include personal development logs, 360 feedback, mentoring and coaching, action learning sets, assessment of course material and progress monitoring.
